AAHHH!!

Well I haven't published a new post in QUITE a while, but well I think no one reads this, at least hardly any one comments, so I am thinking it's probably not read. Oh well, anyways...everything here is going well. The new job is great, I have the easiest boss in the world. I could come to work wearing a chicken suit and he wouldn't say anything. I work every day except Monday, and Fridays are spent babysitting still. On nights that I can manage, I have been going to the gym. It feels really good to work out and my body is definitely showing it, even though I haven't lost weight yet. I think I am turning a lot into muscle. Veronica is doing wonderfully. I thought she was teething but now I am not sure. You can definitely feel something under her gums in various spots, but who knows when they will pop out. She is getting so big, weighing in at 18lbs currently (or more since I haven't weighed her since last Sunday.) She has started sleeping in her own room, which transitioned a lot easier than I thought it would. And she is starting solid foods and loving them. She gets impatient in between bites and kicks her little legs in excitement. I am so happy she's starting to interact with us now, it makes life so much more interesting!!! Other than that there is not much new, at least nothing I can speak of yet. Hope all who read this are well!!!

New Job

So I have a new job, it's working for the Jefferson-Lewis Board of Realtors. It is part time, 20 hours a week. I do lots of stuff with Quickbooks and entering members into the realtor system, and other secretarial type duties. It's fun because there are only three of us in the office, my boss, me, and my friend Jena who basically got me the job. It's the cakest job I have ever had, and the best, most laid back boss I have ever had. He's very amiable and hates confrontation, so basically I could walk in wearing a chicken suit and he'd probably not say anything, lol. It is definitely a blessing because we needed the money badly. Tim and Veronica are doing well. Tim is busy doing wedding videos for people, which is good because we get money from that, and Veronica is almost rolling over. She hasn't quite gotten it yet....lol. I feel teeth coming in on her, but I am not sure how many. I am thinking 4. She is getting so big, and she laughs and squeals these high pitched sounds. I am so in love with her!!! That's about all that is going on, not much else!!!

New Post

Not a very original title. A friend of mine posted this on her myspace.....
Body: Month One
MommyI am only 4 inches longbut I have all my organs.I love the sound of your voice. The sound of your heart beatis my favorite lullaby.
Month TwoMommytoday I learned how to suck my thumb. If you could see meyou could definitely tell that I am a baby.I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though. It is so nice and warm in here.
Month ThreeYou know what MommyI'm a boy!!I hope that makes you happy.I always want you to be happy.I don't like it when you cry.You sound so sad.It makes me sad tooand I cry with you even thoughyou can't hear me.
Month FourMommymy hair is starting to grow.It is very short and finebut I will have a lot of it.I spend a lot of my time exercising.I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toesand stretch my arms and legs.I am becoming quite good at it too.
Month FiveYou went to the doctor today.Mommy, he lied to you.He said that I'm not a baby.I am a baby Mommy, your baby.I think and feel.Mommy, what's abortion?
Month SixI can hear that doctor again.I don't like him.He seems cold and heartless.Something is intruding my home. The doctor called it a needle.Mommy what is it? It burns! Please make him stop!I can't get away from it!Mommy! HELP me!
Month SevenMommyI am okay.I am in Jesus's arms.He is holding me.He told me about abortion. Why didn't you want me Mommy?
Every Abortion Is Just . . .One more heart that was stopped. Two more eyes that will never see.Two more hands that will never touch. Two more legs that will never run.One more mouth that will never speak.

Pretty powerful stuff....

On a different note, Veronica is huge....around 15 or 16 pounds I would say. She is laughing, trying to sit up, holding herself up, and trying to immitate things. She trys very hard to talk as well.
I had a job interview this week. I am hoping to get it, it is part time working at the board of realtors. It works perfect with my schedule and with spending time with Veronica. Is it sad that it is only 9am and I feel like crashing already!!!

Thankful

I am very thankful that this partial birth abortion thing was banned. I still cannot fathom how people can think even remotely that it is okay. What deception of the enemy to think that ripping a child out of the womb and discarding it like yesterday's trash, is "choice." I just heard from an old friend that his sister had an abortion. You know what's worse?? She had a pastor offer to adopt the baby. Someone was willing to take that child and she still murdered it. My goodness I can't imagine even making that kind of decision.
On a much more positive note, can I say I am also thankful that Sanjaya is gone!!!!! LOL!!! It was so frustrating to watch that joke week after week!!!!
I am also thankful that I am hearing some positive news about a good friend of our family. He was diagnosed with cancer, but now they are not so sure it is. So we are definitely praying.
I am also thankful for my little girl who laughs and smiles and is full of joy. And my husband who I am falling more and more in love with.
That's about it.....

Just Plain Stuff

So I haven't posted in a bit. Things are going pretty good. Veronica is getting bigger every day, she weighs 13lbs 12 oz now.....they are telling me she has a heart murmer and they want her to have a chest xray and go to a specialist. I am not worried and neither is the doctor, she said it is precautionary. I had one when I was little and it went away. She has had a busy week this week. Sunday she was dedicated to the Lord. My Dad did the dedication, and cried, which of course made me cry. And then she had her shots the day before yesterday. She is a little fussy and running a low grade fever, but other than that she is doing fine. She is getting so smart. She copies things I do with my mouth and trys to talk so hard. She is starting to try to roll over too. I am hoping she develops right on target, and maybe even a little advanced, lol!!!
I am doing okay. The diet really didn't do much, I tried for a month and didn't really lose....so now I am just trying to eat healthier and hopefully be able to start working out and we will see from there. I have never hated how I looked this much ever. I know, I know it's not what everyone else thinks of me, and not what God thinks of me, but I just don't like myself right now. Oh well, I am sure it will get better:)

Not Much

Not much new going on here. I think my blogging days are winding down, as it seems I really only talk to a few people thru it. I have a myspace now too so that really keeps me in touch with the other people I really wanted to keep in touch thru this. I will probably keep this up a little so that when people want to know what's up with me on a rare occasion, they can check. It's snowing today and it is April 5th....what is wrong with this?? LOL.....Baby Veronica is doing well, she is getting bigger and bigger. Currently she weighs 13lbs 60z....big girl!!! She is trying to sit up too and she talks our ears off. I love her so much!!!

Mixed Blessings

Well I have had an extremely emotional week...actually the last couple of weeks have been highly draining, with Veronica being in the hospital and then the other things that happened. One of them being that my Dad was diagnosed with Stage 1 Parkinson's disease. It was suspected for a while but not confirmed until he went to a specialist. He is telling our church this weekend. The blessing is that it is only in the first stage.... Also a good pastor friend of ours was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The blessing there is that they went in for something else and if he hadn't had that other problem, they wouldn't of found it. So it's a blessing that they might of caught it in time. The last thing that happened was that I found out something that I thought was true for 3 years was a lie from a person close to me. And they are still denying lieing about it which makes it hard to get past it. In that case I can only pray they will tell the truth.
One very big emotional blessing I have had this week was seeing my niece Brittany. Not only did I see her, after 2 long years, but she stayed with me, which is a miracle in itself because of an issue we had before she even ran away from home. She's living back in the town her parents live in, but unfortuneately it's with that guy and his family. The good thing is, I was able to give her an unbiased view on things I saw, and she was actually receptive. We stayed up until 4am one night....which happened to be the first night Veronica slept through the night....I could of slept!!! Oh well, at least I got to speak into Brittany's life. She told me I gave her some things to think about, which I hope is good. I was also happy to find out she still believes in God and that Jesus is the Savior. She has some wacky beliefs now, but at least she knows that. Hopefully this week was an opening to her getting back on the right path.
Well that's it for now....I must admit that with the illnesses my Dad and Mom and friends are facing, I am having a low faith moment.....I know God CAN heal....I just don't know if He WILL heal....and I am having a hard time with it. I guess all I can do is pray.......
